Automotive Resort With Hotels and Race Tracks Built in England

Disgusted with the Disney World? Want to go on vacation to the thing closest to Petrolhead's paradise? Well, soon the dream could come true after plans for a new resort on the Bicester Heritage site were handed over.

The former Royal Air Force base has been an automotive center in the past five years after 35 classic and classic car specialists brought the site back from a damaged state.

Now this site can develop into a "unique automotive resort" after plans for 344 hotel rooms are submitted. The hotel will feature expanded steel nets that cover building curves in honor of RAF Bicester's past as a camouflage training center.

Building design will follow adjacent hangar lines but will have a contemporary design.

The hotel will have an upscale restaurant, bar, courtyard, gym, swimming pool and sauna, and this hotel will offer an immersive experience for car enthusiasts, displaying cars of the past, present and future.

The four-story atrium of the hotel will also exhibit rotating automotive-themed exhibitions and exhibitions. If you are wondering, yes hotel guests will get access to the Bicester Heritage line.

"We are looking forward to welcoming fans to our motorbike hotel, from where they will be able to experience a variety of automotive destinations on one site, from existing centers of excellence to historic cars to private tracks, exhibition hangars, central OEM brands and future technologies," said Dan Geoghegan, Managing Director of Bicester Heritage.

The hotel was designed by a prominent British designer and Dexter Moren car enthusiast, who used the dimensions and orientation of the 1936 Type-C hangar on this site.

"Hospitality specialist designers and interior designers, Dexter Moren Associates, are very pleased to have been selected to design a landmark hotel in the former RAF base, forming part of the vision of Bicester Heritage's master plan that focuses on cars and aircraft," Moren said".

The design goal is to respond in a contemporary way to the site's rich and unique story, drawing inspiration from its historic position at the forefront of aviation, engineering, and innovation while complementing the existing period building."

The hotel is the latest in a long line of development on the Bicester Heritage site, following the evolution of fifty buildings from the historic part of the site. Next to take part in the 425-acre resort will be motorbike lodges and luxury recreational residencies.
